This of course comes from times when we were still wooden clog wearing farmers by majority and the hicks would only eat their own food. We're in the 21st century for cryin' out loud, try something and have some fun.

By the way: anyone who has the recipe for this dish??Looney Doernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982395141370204415.post-35808245732778563332011-03-09T20:02:53.740-08:002011-03-09T20:02:53.740-08:00you guy that is disgusting but it helped me for my...you guy that is disgusting but it helped me for my homework on how do we modern people use pig{s}.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982395141370204415.post-66309379349015255842010-11-26T10:17:33.785-08:002010-11-26T10:17:33.785-08:00How is this any more disgusting than eating the bl...How is this any more disgusting than eating the blood and flesh of an animal? It's not just steamed, it's steamed by port and the spices for an incredible flavor infusion. It's in bladder because it is an old recipe, and gourmet chefs tend to honor tradition, but there are exciting alternatives in plastics you could have blogged about. I guess I can thank her for the willingness to teach me, and apologize for my lack of interest, and thank her that maybe some of it is talent I've just been blessed with through some genetics. I've never tried it with satsumas, but I'd say zest some up and mix it with some sugar and give it a taste and you'll know if it will taste ok with the rolls. The method behind it I have no clue, I guess we should ask her where she learned it. And I'm sure they would taste just fine however you would want to make them and taste just as good if you used your own technique.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11290540294131778131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982395141370204415.post-87987587056973666712010-02-23T09:42:31.858-08:002010-02-23T09:42:31.858-08:002 questions, did your mom just come up with the st...2 questions, did your mom just come up with the stacking method? Every time I make these I wonder this? And then have you ever used the small oranges, satsumas or mandarin oranges for your zest? I have a bag and I was just wondering the other day how they would work for this recipe? And can i just tell you that I love that you are putting some of your mom recipes up. I have had her recipes for all of Colin's favorites but it just not the same as when you see her do it, or you since you learned from her. So thank you for doing that so I can make things for Colin the way his mom does it :-)Corihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08006808965901931908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982395141370204415.post-6557337904387649892010-02-20T10:37:46.799-08:002010-02-20T10:37:46.799-08:00Erin, I Just wanted to send a quick thank you for ...Erin, I Just wanted to send a quick thank you for the recipes. So the night we had those, they tried them, but didn't like them. We knew that would probably be the case, but they had the other Japanese cuisine of miso soup and yakisoba. She was somewhat hesitant when I said it was a "healthy" cookie recipe but she was pleasantly surprised. I think most telling was that her son, who is possibly the pickiest eater on the planet (We're talking about a kid who won't eat anything most days except dog biscuits and uncooked macoroni noodles)...
